It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to inform you that one of our members, Peter, has died. He was known as
'Peter' to us all though his full name was Pierluigi Rossi. A committed and enthusiastic member he will be sorely missed.
In a small camp like ours every member is an active member and a large part of the camp itself. He died on may 9th at 13.40
hours and was buried 3 days later in his Italian homeland. His son Paul has been in frequent contact and his father clearly
a much loved man.
Peter was softly spoken but could be forthright, a regular visitor to the UK he did'nt let distance or his age and infirmity
stand in his way of supporting Southern heritage.
He was the most active supporter of Confederate history on the European mainland, thats how great our loss is .
